Uses of Tadalis SX by Ajanta (Tadalafil Tablets)

Tadalis SX by Ajanta is an oral medication for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. Erectile dysfunction generally occurs when there is the disturbance in the follow of blood to the male reproductive organ.

How to Use Tadalis SX Tablets

Tadalis SX by Ajanta can be used as a continuous treatment of ED or on a need basis when you intend to have sexual activity.

On a need basis:

Take one tablet 30 minutes before you expect to have sex. The tadalafil tablets starts to work after approximately 30 minutes and lasts up to 36 hours. It is noted that, sexual intercourse should be carried out between 30 minutes to 36 hours which is proven excellent time for erection with this medication.

ED treatment:

Take one tablet every day at about the same time of day. You may attempt sexual activity at any time between doses. If you miss a dose, you may take it when you remember but do not take more than one dose per day. Some form of sexual stimulation is needed for an erection to happen with Tadalis SX by Ajanta. Do not take more than 1 tablets per day.

Tadalis SX by Ajanta does not:

• cure ED
• increase a man's sexual desire
• protect a man or his partner from sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV
• serve as a male form of birth control

Tadalis XS by Ajanta is only for men over the age of 18 who have ED, including men with diabetes or men who have undergone prostatectomy. It is not for women or children.

Tadalis SX Contraindications

Tadalis SX tablets are contraindicated in patients having a hypersensitivity to Tadalafil or any inactive ingredient present in Tadalis SX tablets.
Administration of Tadalis SX tablets to patients using any form of organic nitrate is also contraindicated because Tadalis SX was shown to potentiate the hypotensive effect of nitrates.

Tadalis SX Side effects

The most common Tadalis SX side effects that are known to occur in 2% or more of the patients include headache, dyspepsia, back pain, myalgia, nasal congestion, flushing, and pain in limb.

The most common side effects with tadalafil tablets are headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, flushing, and stuffy or runny nose. These side effects usually go away after a few hours. Men who get back pain and muscle aches usually get it 12 to 24 hours after taking Tadalis SX by Ajanta. Back pain and muscle aches usually go away within 2 days. Call your healthcare provider if you get any side effect that bothers you or one that does not go away.

Uncommon side effects include an erection that won't go away (priapism). If you get an erection that lasts more than 4 hours, get medical help right away. Priapism must be treated as soon as possible or lasting damage can happen to your penis, including the inability to have erections. Color vision changes, such as seeing a blue tinge (shade) to objects or having difficulty telling the difference between the colors blue and green.

In rare instances, men taking PDE5 inhibitors (oral erectile dysfunction medicines, including Tadalis SX) reported a sudden decrease or loss of vision in one or both eyes. It is not possible to determine whether these events are related directly to these medicines, to other factors such as high blood pressure or diabetes, or to a combination of these. If you experience sudden decrease or loss of vision, stop taking PDE5 inhibitors, including Tadalis SX by Ajanta, and call a doctor immediately.

Sudden loss or decrease in hearing, sometimes with ringing in the ears and dizziness, has been rarely reported in people taking PDE5 inhibitors, including Tadalis SX. It is not possible to determine whether these events are related directly to the PDE5 inhibitors, to other diseases or medications, to other factors, or to a combination of factors. If you experience these symptoms, stop taking Tadalis SX and contact a healthcare provider right away.

Warnings & Precautions When Using Tadalis SX Tablets

You should not take Tadalis SX (Tadalafil Tablets) if you:
• have low blood pressure or have high blood pressure that is not controlled
• has had a stroke
• have liver problems
• have kidney problems or require dialysis
• have retinitis pigmentosa, a rare genetic (runs in families) eye disease
• have ever had severe vision loss including a condition called NAION
• have stomach ulcers
• have a bleeding problem
• have a deformed penis shape or Peyronie's disease
• has had an erection that lasted more than 4 hours
• have blood cell problems such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia
• take any medicines called “nitrates”
• use recreational drugs called “poppers” like amyl nitrite and butyl nitrite
• are allergic to Tadalis SX by Ajanta or ADCIRCATM or any of its ingredient
• have heart problems such as angina, heart failure, irregular heartbeats, or have had a heart attack

Do not use other ED medicines or ED treatments while taking Tadalis SX tablets. Do not drink too much alcohol when taking Tadalis SX (for example, 5 glasses of wine or 5 shots of whiskey). Drinking too much alcohol can increase your chances of getting a headache or getting dizzy, increasing your heart rate, or lowering your blood pressure.

Tadalis SX Tablets During Pregnancy

Tadalafil has been classified by the US FDA as Category B. Tadalis SX (Tadalafil tablets) is not indicated for use in women. Animal reproduction studies have not demonstrated a foetal risk but there are no adequate and controlled studies in pregnant women.

Tadalis SX Nursing Considerations

Tadalis SX tablets are not indicated for use in women.
It is not known whether Tadalafil is excreted into human milk. Animal studies have proved that Tadalafil or some metabolite of Tadalafil was excreted into rat milk, the medicine levels in animal breast milk may not accurately predict levels of drug in human breast milk.
