Rivaroxaban is used to treat or prevent blood clots (venous thromboembolism, or VTE). Blood clots can occur in the legs (deep vein thrombosis, DVT) or the lungs (pulmonary embolism, PE). Blood clots can develop when patients are very sick and cannot move around as much as normal, such as during or after a stay in the hospital. Blood clots could also develop after knee or hip replacement surgery.
Rivaroxaban tablets sometimes used to lower the risk of a blood clot coming back after the patient has received treatment for blood clots for at least 6 months.Rivaroxaban is also used in people with atrial fibrillation (a heart rhythm disorder) to lower the risk of stroke caused by a blood clot.

Active Ingredient present in Rpigat Tablets
The active ingredient present in Rpigat tablets is Rivaroxaban. Each Rpigat tablet contains 10 mg, 15 mg or 20 mg of Rivaroxaban respectively depending on the strength of the tablet.
Uses of Rpigat 10 mg, 15 mg and 20 mg Tablets
Rpigat tablets (Generic Rivaroxaban tablets) are used to treat and prevent the formation of blood clots in the blood vessels of the heart and the brain. This reduces the risk of a stroke or a heart attack in people suffering from a condition called non-valvular atrial fibrillation or arrhythmia.
Rpigat tablets are also used to treat blood clots that can form in the veins of the legs after a knee or a hip replacement surgery (DVT). Blood clots can also make their way to the blood vessels of the lungs (PE), and Rpigat tablets help treat those as well. The use of Rpigat tablets will also prevent these clots from forming again.

How Do Rpigat Tablets Work
Rpigat is an anticoagulant medicine. "Anti" means against and "coagulant" refers to blood clotting. An anticoagulant helps keep clots from forming in your blood. They also help stop blood clot growth. Anticoagulants are sometimes called "blood-thinners," but they do not actually thin your blood. They work by blocking the part of your blood that normally forms clots.
Rivaroxaban, the active ingredient in Rpigat tablets, is an anticoagulant. It blocks a blood clotting factor called Xa factor. This reduces the blood's ability to clot and prevents toxic blood clots from forming in the blood vessels.

Stop taking Rpigat immediately if it leads to severe hemorrhage.

Lungs:
