Vitagon Injections (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) - Product Information
Vitagon injections contain a hormone called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) which causes ovulation and helps in the treatment of infertility in women by regulating the development of the female egg in the ovaries and influencing its release during the process of ovulation.
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is also useful in the treatment of male infertility by increasing the sperm count. Treatment with Generic HCG is also recommended in boys who show symptoms of delayed puberty i.e. delay in the development of secondary sexual characteristics such as hair growth and deepening of voice. Human Chorionic Gonadotropin injections (Vitagon) are also prescribed as intramuscular therapy in boys suffering from a pituitary disorder in which the testicles have not yet descended into the scrotal sacs.
In our online pharmacy, Vitagon injections are available in vials of 1500 iu and 5000 iu of purified Human Chorionic Gonadotropin hormone.
We also have in stock Menotrophin (HMG 75 IU and 150 IU Injection) which is used for stimulation of ovulation and pregnancy in women with ovulatory dysfunction not due to primary ovarian failure as well as for stimulation of spermatogenesis in men with primary or secondary hypogonadotropic hypogonadism.

Vitagon Mechanism of Action - How Does Human Chorionic Gonadotropin Work?
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is a naturally occurring hormone which is responsible for the sexual development in both males and females, along with follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). These three hormones are commonly used for the treatment of infertility.
HCG mimics the actions of the pituitary hormone, LH, stimulating the production of gonadal steroid hormones by activating the interstitial cells (Leydig cells) of the testis to produce androgens and the corpus luteum of the ovary to produce progesterone. Androgen production in men results in the development of secondary sexual characteristics and may activate the testicular descent when there is no other anatomical obstruction for successful descent into the scrotal sac. This testicular descent is ordinarily reversible when treatment with HCG injections is stopped.
During the normal menstrual cycle, LH along with FSH, results in the development and maturation of the normal ovarian follicle, while the rise in the LH level towards the middle of the cycle results in ovulation. HCG shots can be used as a substitute for LH in this process of ovulation. During a normal pregnancy, HCG secreted by the placenta preserves the corpus luteum after the decline in LH secretion levels, assisting the sustained secretion of estrogen and progesterone and inhibiting menstruation. HCG shots are not known to have any role in fat mobilization, weight loss, appetite or sense of hunger, or body fat distribution.
